About
Annabel Chapman is the wholesome heart behind Heartful Humans. She is a Shine From Within Youth Mentor and an accredited Mental Health First Aider for youth. She delivers workshops and mentoring to teens and tweens to help build self confidence, self esteem and self worth. Annabel is passionate about young people learning the importance of valuing their own opinions and ideas, trusting themselves and expressing their personalities. She teaches them how to utilise their strengths and accept themselves exactly as they are so that they can confidently communicate their feelings, be their authentic selves and know their place in the world.
On reflection, Annabel realised that some of the toughest times of her life were during her teenage years. Having always had a passion for self development, she decided that she wanted to guide and support others at a time in their lives that brings so much change and uncertainty. And so Heartful Humans was born. She believes young people don’t receive enough credit for what is going on in their worlds during these years. Physical and emotional changes, the pressures of doing well at school and choosing a career, perhaps a job, friendship groups and on top of all of that, getting to know the adult they are becoming. Inner self love is a huge component of what Heartful Humans is all about and getting young people to really see the magic of who they are, celebrate their uniqueness and realise how important it is that they show up in the world as their authentic selves. Annabel continues to develop herself and work through her own blocks and limiting beliefs to ensure that she continues to be the best version of herself and encourage others to do the same. Annabel lives in Sydney and loves the beach, yoga, camping, chocolate, cups of tea, reading and spending time with her Labrador dog Dave.
